Involvement gives people an opportunity to have their say on services, their community and their lives. By gathering people's views it helps us an understand of what matters to people and communities. This is important to us. Involvement is also about developing relationships and partnerships, we want to make sure that the voice of local people and partners are heard.
Download our involvement annual report (July 2022 to March 2023) which sets out how we have worked with people and communities since Integrated Care Boards were created in law in July 2022.
We are committed to meaningful conversations with people, on the right issues at the right time. We believe that this approach informs the ambitions of our partnership - to work in an open and transparent way with communities. Working with communities helps us to make sure we are making the right decisions, as they know far better than us what keeps them well and safe.
Our involvement principles are very important to us.
Engaging and communicating with partners, stakeholders and the public in the planning, design and delivery is essential if we are to get this right. Your voice matters to us, so we have set out how we make sure we listen and act on it in a set of principles.

We are committed to transparency and meaningful involvement in our work. We have also developed an involvement framework which builds on the communications and involvement plan to describe at a West Yorkshire level our approach. This will be updated to reflect any changes needed.
You can find out more about how you get involved in the work taking place locally or at a West Yorkshire level by visiting the involvement page on the Partnership website.
