Welcome to the first annual report and accounts for NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Our report covers the first 9 months of operation for the ICB, from 1 July 2022, when ICBs were officially established, to 31 March 2023. It gives an overview of our progress and performance over that period as an already established Integrated Care System (ICS). It sets out how we build on our many years of collaborative working in West Yorkshire and how we continue to work with people and partners to join up services so that we can improve people’s health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities.
Before July 2022, clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) were the statutory organisations responsible for planning and buying local healthcare services. Our West Yorkshire CCG annual reports covering the period from 1 April to 30 June 2022 are included here too.
