Calderdale Cares Partnership works to improve the health and wellbeing of the 211,000 people who live in Calderdale.
We are a partnership of local organisations representing the NHS, local government, Healthwatch and the community and voluntary sector in Calderdale.
By working together, we aim to reduce health inequalities and deliver joined up health, support, and community care for the people of Calderdale.
Closer partnerships are already making a difference to local people’s lives by providing the seamless support they need in the community where they live.
The approach of working together as one place and sharing resources across organisations has been especially effective in supporting people during the pandemic. It also enables Calderdale to deliver the joint Wellbeing Strategy to help people start well, develop well, live and work well, and age well.
Our vision for Calderdale is for a place where you can realise your potential whoever you are, whether your voice has been heard or unheard in the past.
We aspire to be a place where talent and enterprise can thrive.
A place defined by our innate kindness and resilience, by how our people care for each other, are able to recover from setbacks and are full of hope.
Calderdale will stand out, be known and be distinctive. A great place to visit, but most importantly, a place to live a larger life.
We are proud to be part of West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.
